Mazel Tov to Gracie and her family! We had the honor of photographing Gracie's Bat Mitzvah party at the Proximity Hotel last week. The whole evening was a party, with friends and family joining in (even some digitally!). We started out with portraits of Gracie and the fam in the lobby, and then Alex from K2 Productions packed the dance floor with his DJ skills. Fun fact: Show tunes are really popular with teens! Especially Hamilton. So it was no surprise that when Gracie's mom had managed to get a personal note from Lin-Manuel Miranda congratulating Gracie on her big day, she kinda freaked out.
